Unfortunately we’ve had to cancel the melee that was planned for this Wednesday (30th July). On Tuesday 5th August we’ve had to rearrange a league match to play at home. Please come along and play as usual at the club and support the team.
Hopefully coming soon will be some pictures from our recent outings to the Corn Exchange, Waterfront festival and Kirkstall festival. Alan has put some pictures from the Corn Exchange on the Northern Petanque website which can be found by following this link:
Leeds Petanque Club will be playing as part of this year’s Kirkstall Festival which takes place this Saturday 12th July.
The festival runs from 11am to 5pm and we’ll be playing and demonstrating all day. We hope as many club members as possible will be able to come down and help on the day.
It’s possible for us to play at Kirkstall because of the hard work put in by the festival organisers in getting a terrain built. Thanks to go Alan, the festival organiser, and his team for turning a bit of unused ground in to a petanque terrain.
If you would like more information about the festival click on the festival logo above to visit the website. And if you’re there on the day please come over, say hello and have a go at petanque!
