Please come down and join us at the Kirkstall Festival for as much time as you give today. The weather forecast is amazing – sunny all day long.
Start at 10:30am at the terrain below the tennis courts over to the right of the main entrance. Finishing around 4pm with a trip to the pub.
See you there!
Just a quick reminder we need your support for the Kirkstall Festival this Saturday 8th July.
Meet at the terrain at 10:30am for an 11am start. Weather looks okay.
There’s talk of beers afterwards down the excellent Kirkstall Bridge pub…
Message from Jo (standing in for Pam and doing a grand job):
We had a win last night in the West Yorkshire League in a keenly fought match against Heckmondwike. There were some very close games.
There was a real buzz at Glen Road with a school BBQ and a T20 cricket match, with real interest from some of the cricketers as to what we were doing and how to play petanque!
Well done and thanks to the team: Simon, Richard M, Gavin, Dave W, Richard B and David and a special thanks to Robin and Carol for their help with the supper. The Heckmondwike team appreciated the warm welcome and sociable nature of the evening.
Well done to all and keep up the good work.
