About LPC

petanque2Leeds Petanque Club came into being at Easter 2006 after extensive work by our first Chairman Nigel Clay.

Richmond House School kindly gave us use of part of their car park on their sports field and club members constructed the terrain themselves opening for business in May 2006.

It has a 6 piste terrain (since December 2012) plus free car parking, a shared clubhouse with Bowls & Cricket teams and since the early days has recruited over 60 members and maintains a membership of between 20 and 30 players.

We have informal play every Tuesday (Summer) and Sunday; Regular club competitions; our team plays in the York League on Thursdays and some club members attend regional events and have qualified to represent the Northern region.

We welcome newcomers, visitors from around the world and experienced players from around the region. If you don’t have boules we can lend you some to get started.

  1. Last Sunday 15/9 I was at the club, I had a great time.

Also had a very nice day at the Fox.

Maybe next year I may come and play again.
